Ford Focus Cosworth

For the time being this car is only a prototype and almost became a legend. We all have seen the new Focus WRC of Colin McRay destroying the opposition with a brand new and not thoroughly tested car. This Cossie must become a reality. Ford has to continue the Cosworth legend.

I cannot say much for the car, because there are not any technical data out yet. The only thing we know is that the engine is the new 2.0 litre 16valve ZETEC, with many goodies on it. The new AirResearch Garrett turbocharger, state-of-the-art ECU management, intercooler, chargecooler and all the staff that make an engine to be different from all the other japanese crap motors. (I finally said it I hate japanese cars).

They say that the car will have two editions. The first one is a front wheel drive (!!!) version with over 200bhp and a LSD (limited slip differential). The second is said to be a Colin McRay replica with over 250bhp, four wheel drive, six speed gearbox and many more motorsport goodies.

I mean why not? Why the Japs have one million versions of their cars for road use? Why Ford doesn't take the big step of doing it? The Focus can become the greatest of all times (except maybe from my favourite the RS500).
